If you were listening to NPR this morning on Week-end Edition they were talking about a new cookbook called Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking by Dr. Nathan Myhrvold et al. The six volume set includes some amazing photographs. They actually cut a weber grill in half to show everyone what the cooking process looks it. In an even more daring feat they cut a wok in half to get a stir-fry action shot:
Not surprisingly they had several fires using the cut wok before they got this eye-popping image!
