New Portrait Emily Dickinson

For years the only known portrait of poet Emily Dickinson was this 1847 daguerreotype made when she was 16 years old.  A private collector has found what he claims is an 1859 daguerreotype of Emily in her mid-20’s  (shown on the left in the bottom photo) with recently widowed friend, Kate Scott Turner.  To see a cool Photoshop comparison of these two images go to:  www.north100.com/emily
